Torri – Rosé wine Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo DOC 4Venti
Sensory notes
Colour: A beautiful deep cherry pink, characterized by an intriguing luminosity.
Smell: The nose recalls ripe cherry pulp, as well as hints of raspberry, currant and cloves.
Taste: On the palate it is decidedly fresh, dry and well balanced by the perfect harmony between softness and flavour. The juicy red berried fruits are supported by the elbowing of a delicate but ambitious blackberry, which honors us with a very long finish.
Harvesting
Born in one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo, from an old vineyard raised in Tendone, at an ideal altitude to guarantee a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.
A cerasuolo from Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC grapes, obtained from a harvest in the second ten days of September, strictly manual, from certified organic farming, which ensures maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Winemaking
A vinification in white, carried out exclusively in thermo-conditioned steel vats, and after the necessary rest on the skins, follows a maturation of 3 months, in cement tanks, to then proceed with bottling in total absence of oxygen.
Pair with Torri Cantine’s Cerasuolo 420
In general, rosé wine has the extraordinary characteristic of being able to be combined with almost all foods, and certainly it can be sipped in any circumstance. Served very chilled, with aperitifs, appetizers, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white and red meats, fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
Let’s imagine a mussel impepata, a sea bass baked in foil, legume and chestnut soup, a carbonara, pork loin or a dried scamorza.
