Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOC Torri 420 wine
Sensory notes
Colour: Dark ruby red, almost impenetrable, with the characteristic purple reflections of youth and an interesting texture.
Smell: The nose reveals a generous bouquet of flowers and red fruits, rose, violet, blackberry.
Taste: An intense taste of cherries, plums, blackberries, supported by delicate balsamic notes. A seductive softness and an alcohol content suitable for a freshness with never aggressive tannins, followed by a satisfying mineral finish.
Harvesting
Born in one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo, from an old vineyard raised in Tendone and Filare, at an ideal altitude to guarantee a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure.
A Montepulciano d’Abruzzo obtained from a rigorously manual harvest in the first ten days of October, from certified organic farming, which ensures maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Winemaking
A vinification in thermo-conditioned steel vats, followed by a malolactic fermentation and a subsequent maturation of 6 months in cement tanks to then be bottled in the total absence of oxygen.
How to pair our Torri 420 organic red wine
To be served at 14-16 degrees and possibly with a large goblet with a wide rim, and always uncork it a little before serving, so as to allow it to open well and express itself at its best.
Perfect on any occasion, it can be enjoyed alone or in company, preferably combined with well-structured and tasty dishes: aperitifs, appetizers, vegetarian dishes, red meats and medium and long-aged cheeses.
