Vino Primitivo I.G.T. Colli Aprutini Bag in box Torri Cantine
Sensory notes
Colour: Intense ruby red, almost impenetrable, with slight purple reflections and an enviable consistency.
Smell: Intense, very structured with red floral scents of violet and fruity scents of blueberries, cherries, plums and wild berries.
Taste: On the palate it is warm, imposing and soft, in good balance with a moderate freshness, a tannin present, even if not particularly extroverted and overbearing and of excellent persistence. Excellent agreement with the sense of smell as regards the scents, a vine that despite the high alcohol content allows easy drinkability with a long mineral finish.
Harvesting
Primitivo is a wine with very ancient roots and typical characteristics of a southern product. In Italy, its region of origin is Puglia and over the years, it has been appreciated all over the world.
A vine born at an ideal altitude to guarantee a formidable temperature range and with a magnificent exposure. It is the result of a strictly manual harvest in the first ten days of October of certified organic cultivation, which guarantees maximum respect for the surrounding environment.
Winemaking
It is vinified in thermo-conditioned steel vats, and once the malolactic fermentation is complete, the wine ages for 4 months in the cement tanks to then proceed to filling the bag in the total absence of oxygen.
